Post Graduate Diploma in Management
PGDM Programme is meant for those who want to shape their career in management and excel in it. The unique courseware has been designed to ensure that the management graduates of ACCMAN develop a judicious blend of strategic thinking and tactical implementation, specialized knowledge and general management skills. The programme follows a six trimesters, including compulsory summer training after completion of the first year. In the three trimesters during the first year, the focus is primarily on basic courses to build a foundation of conceptual and analytical skills required for more specialized study in various functional areas to be pursued in the second year of the programme. In the second year the students have to opt for 12 electives in addition to the compulsory core courses. This enables the students to pursue in depth learning in the area of their specialization. The electives cover a minimum two functional areas which equip the students with multiple functional skills.
Apart from the compulsory courses, student has to opt for a total of 12 electives (6 in term IV, 4 in term V and 2 in term VI). Summer internship (minimum 8 weeks duration) and dissertation will be equivalent to 6 credits.
